Our team building products are designed to assist businesses that are embracing responsibility for their corporate actions, encouraging a positive impact on the environment and furthering social good.

Catalyst Global really does bring impact in team building. At Catalyst, we take that impact beyond simply words and beyond what you might expect.

Buy1GIVE1 (or B1G1)

Catalyst Global's Lifetime Partnership with the Global Giving Initiative, Buy1GIVE1 (or B1G1) allows us to make a real difference to people we may never get to meet. B1G1 is a Social Enterprise and non-profit organisation with a mission to create a world that’s full of giving.

Everytime anywhere in the world someone participates in a Catalyst Global program with one of its network partners, Catalyst Global gives to one of B1G1's specially selected array of high impact projects.  But it doesn't stop there, network partners who are members of B1G1 also give each time they run a program compounding the giving!

We highly recommend that you check out B1G1. Unlike conventional giving models, B1G1 helps small and medium sized businesses achieve more social impact by embedding giving activities in their everyday business operations to create unique Giving Stories. Every business transaction (and as a result, your everyday activity) can impact lives from as little as just 1 cent.

For us at Catalyst, it completes a great ‘virtuous circle’: great game design, great impact on all participants and their companies, doing great things; together with you.

Environmental Impact

We are ever conscious of the potential impacts of our products, activities and services on the environment and society. Our products are designed with serious consideration to the potential social and environmental impacts, such as transport, energy use and waste. When delivering events we endeavor to minimise environmental impact and work towards social good. To find out more, read our policy.

Flat Out F1 Corporate Outdoor Team Building Fun

Flat Out: Formula One

There are so many ways in which you can use Flat Out Formula 1 to promote your favourite charity. Here are a few examples: Recently Catalyst Team Building Australia facilitated a Flat Out F1 with a CSR twist. Prior to the event, all teams selected a charity. During the activity, teams branded their cars with decorations denoting their charity. Teams then raced for prize money for their chosen charity. All teams donated to their charity, whether they came 1st or last! At the end of the program the client surprised us by doubling the donations! Impressive! Staff from US dessert giant, Sara Lee, participated in a CSR focused Flat Out F1. They invited kids from a nearby institution to participate in the activity by helping build and decorate the cars. During the grand finale race, one child was invited to sit with the driver and race down the track! Needless to say the children had a fantastic time, and Sara Lee loved it so much that they purchased the first place car, taking it back to display at their HQ and donating the money to the children's charity. The children signed the car body with short "thank you" notes and all the participants names. Win! Win! for all. Another Catalyst Global network partner donated Flat Out F1 to a school. The children received the educational benefits of this dynamic challenge while raising money for their school. Prior to the event each team was tasked with finding a corporate sponsor for their F1 racing car. Character building stuff for go-getters in their formative years!

Add a 'bolt on extra to this activity' where the points accumulated by teams are matched with cash donations from your company. All teams total their stars at end of the competition; a winning team is recognised and applauded. A spokesperson for the company announces that all stars earned during the competition will be matched on a cash ratio e.g. 1 star = $1 Several Perspex ‘post boxes’ are provided, representing 2 or 3 charities your company has chosen to support. Teams divide their stars evenly between individuals in their team. All participants are invited to post their stars according to the charities they personally wish to support.
